Root Cellar Privacy Policy
Root Cellar does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
- No accounts. The app never asks you to sign up or sign in.
- No analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no third-party services of any kind.
- Your records stay yours. Everything you record — canning batches, pantry items, flocks, egg counts, plantings, and harvests — is stored on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, Apple's CloudKit syncs your records to your personal, private iCloud database so your other devices can see them. The developer has no access to that data and no way to read it.
- Purchases are Apple's business, not ours to see. The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Because the app collects nothing, there is nothing to delete on our side. Removing the app (and, if you choose, its iCloud data via Settings > iCloud > Manage Storage) removes everything.
If this policy ever changes, the change will be posted on this page before it takes effect.
